What is an Economic Enterprise? Each enterprise developed by Birambye International will be as unique in character as the hosting community. Due to a continuous need for funding to support projects, our model focuses on enterprises that will be sustainable after an initial investment. In an enterprise, the long-term success of a community's health, education, and job training happens with one initial triple bottom line investment. The positive return on a triple bottom line investment is greater than a single economic bottom line, because the environment and the people are also considered part of a positive return. Birambye International provides in-kind engineering, architecture, planning and other professional services and seeks investments of seed money. However, Birambye relies solely on the community's initiative and commitment for each enterprise to develop and maintain sustainably.
